Site Manager for a Danish production company.
For a successful Danish company we are looking for a Site Manager/Director for the establishment and operation of a new factory in Poland.
The new Site Manager will have 2 main roles:
1. Establishment of the (new) factory in Poland, in rented premises:
. find location for factory in Western Poland (Szczecin, Stargard or Gorzow)
. draw up specifications, budget and plan for the new factory
. continuously monitor the ‘construction project’
. continuous reporting on the progress and finances of the project.
. continuous follow-up of the timetable for relocation to the new factory
2. Start-up and operation of new factory in Poland, including:
. preparing the start-up plan for the new plant
. assess the manpower requirements for the factory
. initiate recruitment process of staff in Poland
. explore the possibility of temporarily relocating key staff from Denmark
. test machinery and other equipment for the operation of the factory
. ensure that all necessary systems are adjusted and tested
. ensure efficient logistics in relation to the receipt of goods and production
. implement quality assurance and daily operations (Lean)
. gradual transfer of tasks from Denmark to Poland.
Thereafter normal operations.
